School Dining Mural

The school’s dining hall displays were often damaged by children in the dinner queue, so the head teacher asked me to paint a more durable mural. Using playground photos and an overhead projector, I worked with pupils to sketch the scene. I traced children from the queue onto the wall, and they chose to have the figures painted in the style of their reading scheme illustrations.
